Concept:
In this production of Men on Boats, a big gesture we decide to make is through putting audiences on the two side of the stage and get them racked. We want the audience to feel like sitting on the mountain ridge of Grand Canyon and looking down at the characters. We often break the fourth wall with character's lines and speak directly to the audience to thus provoke thoughts, making an historical event a comment on the modern society.
